Alice's vocabulary is growing by leaps and bounds.  She learns new words every day.  For some reason, I thought it would be more of a gradual process.  Some of her words include: a buck ($), pizza, pickle, Mommy where are you?, oh gosh, watch, house, bubbles, and animal sounds. 

 

A few days ago Jake was standing at the fridge with the door open as he sipped a soda.  When he tried to close the door, Alice had weasled her way in there.  Jake accidentally squished her in the door.  Tears and cries came.  Jake felt terrible so he took her and they sat on the couch together until she calmed down.  Just as the tears and cries were nearly gone, she shouted, "Daddy, why?".  As if to say, "Why did you smash me in the fridge door?"  It was a sad scene, but we couldn't help but laugh.
